This section covers a broad range of real estate investing questions that we have received over the last few years.

Can I get overnight delivery and how much extra does it cost?

Yes, we do provide expedited delivery at an extra charge, depending upon where you live. If you wish to have expedited delivery, please include that in the special instructions area of the checkout page.

How do I unsubscribe to your emails?

At the end of every email that you receive from us, there is an unsubscribe link. Just click on that link and submit your unsubscribe request.

If you have attempted to unsubscribe and you are still receiving our emails, one of a couple things could be at fault.

  1. One problem could be that you are subscribed with an email that "feeds" into your master account and you are attempting to unsubscribe an email that is not in our system. At the top of every email we send to you, it tells you which email we have in our database. Please forward that email in its ENTIRETY to and your record will be completely deleted from our system and you will no longer receive emails.
     
  2. You could be subscribed in our database more than one time for various reasons. Please follow the same instructions as above to remedy the situation and have your records deleted from our database.

I purchased one of your products. How do I track my delivery?

If you have purchased one of OUR products:

You should have received an email directly from our fulfillment company when your course was shipped that contained the method of shipment and a tracking number, if applicable. If you did not receive this email, it's possible that the email was stopped by your spam filter.

In most cases, it takes 5-7 business days for delivery depending on your location. Some receive it sooner and there are some, especially on the West Coast, that may not receive it before 10 business days.

If you have not received an email or your package within 10 days, please email us at : info@reiconferences.com with shipment status in the subject line.

If you have purchased another speaker's product from our teleconferences

Please allow up to 10 business days for delivery. If, after 10 days, you have not received your materials, please call Customer Service at 1-888-250-6616.

I would like to work for your company. What do I need to do?

My credit card was declined when I tried to make a purchase and I know my card is good. What’s wrong?

It's possible that the issuer of your card has placed a security feature on your card that prevents purchases over a certain amount. A quick call to the customer service number on the back of your card to verify that you are the one trying to make the purchase will usually correct the situation and you will be able to submit your order without further problems.

Although inconvenient, it is for your protection.

Other problems may be inaccurate information being entered on the order form.

If you are placing your order online, please double check that all information is accurate and exactly as stated on your billing statements for the card you are trying to use.

If you submit your order via fax at 1-888-327-6410 or on our 100% secure, toll free order line, please make sure that your writing is legible and that you speak slowly and clearly on the phone system. Make sure that you include all pertinent information such as card number, expiration date, etc. Make sure that when you fax or call in your order that you provide a DAYTIME telephone number and your PRIMARY email. Orders cannot be processed without this information and you cannot be reached in the event of a problem.

What is included in the Group Coaching Program?

The Group Coaching Program Consists of 8 webinar/phone combination sessions where Charrissa will help you strategize and prioritize to take your real estate investing business to the next level.  Each and every week, we so through a different part of the real estate investing process and cover it in depth. We cover everything from locating properties to making offers and exit strategies.  During the 8 weeks, we will cover the entire 10 steps, hiring a virtual assistant, buying and holding, wholesaling and lease options. The trainings are webinar style where you watch Charrissa's screen while you listen and interact by asking questions.  Class sizes are limited.  To be considered, go to http://www.reiconferences.com.mentoring.htm and fill out the form at the bottom of the page and one of our associates will call you to see if there is a fit.
 

Will I get a chance to have my specific questions answered?

Absolutely. Charrissa does these trainings herself and keeps the class size to a minimum so that every single student gets their own specific questions answered and their needs addressed. You will have the opportunity to ask questions on every single session. In addition, you will have access to Charrissa's personal email address for questions that you think of outside of the coaching sessions.
 
What if I need to be in touch with certain contacts in a market? Will Charrissa give us access to her contacts during these coaching sessions?
Yes, Charrissa will gladly open her personal rolodex and give you referrals to her contacts and vendors.
Are there any other benefits to Group Coaching?

Charrissa believes that group coaching is actually more effective than one on one coaching.  In a group setting you actually get the opportunity to learn form other investors in the group and the questions that they ask as well. As a group coaching student, You will also have access to the Private Group Coaching Members Area and 3 free months of access to REWEX, which includes a forum and over 10,000 pages of tools and resources for real estate investors.

Can you tell me what constitutes a deal?

We need to be able to sell a house to one of our investors at 65% of the after repaired value including purchase price, repairs and closing cost and profit of at least $5000

How can I buy a house from you or one of your investors/wholesalers?

How do I fund my deal?

There are many ways to fund a deal. The first answer is a hard money lender. We do indeed work with a few "preferred lenders". You can email us at info@reiconferences.com with "Hard Money Lender Contacts" in the subject line and we will email you their contact info. Hard Money Lenders generally provide loans that incorporate the cost of the property, rehab expenses, and closing costs into one loan provided the amount is no more than the 65%-70% of the after repaired value.  You can also use cash partners, credit partners, conventional bank money and private money just to name a few.

How do I get on the short list of buyers that receive first notification of a new property listing?
You can send us an email to: info@reiconferences.com with "Add me to your investor list" in the subject line of the email to let us know that you are a ready, willing and able buyer and can make decisions fast. You will also need to provide us with a proof of funds letter or lender approval letter. You can fax your letter to 1-888-327-6410.
How do I sell you a property?

If you have a property that you would like to possibly sell to us or one of the investors in our network, we require:

  1. Comps for the after repair value (either from a licensed real estate agent or a "Subject To" appraisal)
  2. Rehab list from a professional with price of repairs.
  3. Our cost 

Remember that we are wholesalers. This means that we have to buy below 65% of the ARV.  That 65% ARV needs to include the cost of the house, rehab cost, our wholesale profit, and points and closing cost.  Anything below that offer will be your profit.

How do I submit a deal for you to look at to buy or to give me advice on?

We basically need three things to look at a property and see if it makes sense or not. First, the amount of repairs. Second, the after repaired value and third the price you are offering. .

I can't afford the earnest checks to be able to make offers. How can I invest in Real Estate?

That's ok. All you need to do is find another investor to fund you or be a bird dog for, or partner with, another investor on your first deal or two then you can afford as many deposits as you need. The best place to start looking is your local investors club or your investor buyers list. REMEMBER.... make sure that paying and/or receiving a bird dog fee is legal in your state!

I want to get into wholesaling. Where do I start?

That is a very broad question but we get it often. Because of this, we are actually developing a new product dedicated to wholesaling specifically! Keep checking out website at www.reiconferences.com for the latest announcements as to the release of the product!

I would like to be a "Bird Dog" for you company. What do I do?

We are always looking for more properties so if you come across a property that is a true wholesale property and meets our criteria, please feel free to contact us about it. You will need to email us at info@reiconferences.com about the property and include as much information as possible. If you have an appraisal and pictures, they are very helpful. We will contact you for more information if we determine that the property meets our criteria.

I'm a brand new investor. Where do I start?

How is The Building Wealth System different from other systems out there?

In the Building Wealth System Course, you will find some of the same information that you will in other courses as I wanted a new investor that has never invested in other courses to have all of the tools they need. You will, however, find many tools, resources,  processes, procedures, software and more in my course that are exclusive to REI Conferences and my own system that you will not find anywhere else.

Can I print from the REI Cash Flow Analysis software?
Yes, at the top left hand corner of the screen, click on file and then click on print reports.
Can I put the forms and software programs on more than one computer?

Yes, as long as it is within your immediate family.

How do I get my bonuses that were offered when I purchased the system?

In the course package, there is a sheet titled "Read This First" included where you will find the link to all of the bonuses and updates.

I am a course owner and I think I may have a defective disc. What do I do?

Contact information to get replacement discs or anything else defective in the course is also located on the "Read This First" page. 

The sheet with the stop sign on it is for defective discs ONLY. Please do not call the number listed with course questions, questions regarding bonuses, etc. Call our offices for that information at 1-888-250-6616.

I am a Building Wealth System course owner. How do I get my Forms Disc onto my computer?

Insert the forms disc into your computers CD drive. It should open automatically. If not, double click on "My Computer", double click on the CD drive and the folder should show. Then you want to click on the folder to "view all files and folders". When you see all of the files and folders then go to the menu at the top of the screen and click on the word "edit". A list will drop down and you should click on "select all". Then place your mouse over one of the documents and left click on "copy". Then minimize that screen and click on your "My Documents" icon to open up you're "My Documents" folder. Then find an open space in that folder and place your mouse pointer in that free space area, right click on it and then left click "paste". This will install all of the documents from the disc to your "My Documents" folder.

I just received my Building Wealth System. Where do I start?

If you are a brand new investor, I would suggest that you start with either the Live Calls discs or start with going through the entire course initially. This will help you to get started the fastest.

I was supposed to receive support with my system. What is it and how do I receive it?

With your Building Wealth System, I do offer 6 months of email support. The support is different from our coaching and mentoring programs. To take advantage of the free support, please email me with any specific questions you have about my system as per the instructions on the "Read This First" page in the course. If I can not answer your question by email then I will be glad to talk with you via telephone.

As I travel all over the United States frequently, please allow three to five days for a response before resending an email or calling. I answer all of my emails personally and I get hundreds of them per day so it may take a few days to get to yours once I am able to access my emails. I appreciate your patience!

Will The Building Wealth System work for apartment or commercial investing?
The course was designed primarily for single family investors; however, all of the tools, processes and procedures used for automating and systematizing your business will work with any type of investing, no matter where you are or where in the country you might be investing.
Will The Building Wealth System work in my area/market?

In the years that I have been traveling across the US teaching my Real Estate Investing System, I have heard from and have testimonials from students in all areas of the world.  I have students in the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Vietnam, Mexico and Canada. I have no idea how the real estate business works in those countries but all I know is that we have never had a return from any of our International students. If it will work there it will certainly work where you are. Please remember though that it will only work if you take action and APPLY what you learn!

Besides buying property from the MLS, What other options are there for finding properties?
There are many ways to buy properties. The building wealth system comes with a disk with more places and websites to find property than you could ever imagine. However... in my market, right now, the realtors are the "low hanging fruit". I suggest you look for the areas of the "low hanging fruit" in your market as well. You may be surprised at what you find!

How much is it and what is included?

Are my meals and hotel expenses covered?

Yes! We stay in 4 and 5 star hotels and pay for your accommodations, the limo bus and all meals while on the tour. We also GIVE you the Building Wealth System, Software and our "Exclusive" spreadsheets and software for analyzing property for no charge. You also get FREE admission for two ($1997 per seat, normal price) to any upcoming Wealth Camp with the year. 
 

What if I have already have gone on a tour to one city and I choose to return? What is the cost?
We welcome alumni investors and typically have at least two or three return students on every single tour. The cost for a return student is half price plus $1000 for an additional guest.
 

Can you do payment arrangements?

Yes, we can break up the cost of the tour over two payments. Final payment must be received BEFORE you attend the tour. If you are just reserving a seat, you can pay a $1000 deposit to hold your seat and full payment is due 30 days before the tour date.
 
Can I bring someone to the Tour with me?

As an REI Buying Tour participant you are eligible to bring one additional guest with you for an additional $1,000.  That person may be a spouse, parent, business partner or child over the age of 12.

What should I bring along on the tour with me?

Be sure and bring your pre-approval letter or proof of funds letter from your bank.  You will absolutely need this to make offers. If you don't have this, after you submit your registration packet, we will put you in touch with our own lenders who can help you. A laptop if you choose, but it is not necessary. A digital camera is good, but again not necessary. A light jacket is good in case of weather changes. A pad for taking notes is a good thing. Be sure and also bring your check book so that you can write earnest deposit checks for the offers you make.  This is a necessity.
 

How many properties are generally shown on the tour and what type?

Between 40-50 Single Family Home, Duplexes, Triplexes, Fourplexes and Small to Medium Sized Apartment Buildings. We show a solid variety of properties that will all offer double and triple digit returns on our investments.
 

Does it matter if I am a wholesaler, a Flipper or a Buy and Hold Investor? 

We have many students who come along to simply "Get access to our Team and the Deals" so that they can go back to their respective states and wholesale them to other investors at their local clubs or in their areas. We also have many other investors that buy, fix and flip the properties and then of course there are a great number of Investors along that buy the properties and rehab, refinance and cash out and then hold the properties for long term passive cash flow. Our power team is instrumental in helping you do this from many miles away!
 

Does it matter if I am a "Newbie" or Seasoned Investor?

Not at all.  We have a few "Newbies" as well as a few seasoned investors on every tour. For the w folks, we are literally walking you through the steps of being a successful investor. We show you every single step of the process. For the "Seasoned Vets", we are giving you a new market on a silver platter along with a million dollar rolodex of our contacts and sources! We cater to both the new AND seasoned investors.  This is the most comprehensive training program in the industry today and that's why over 50% of our clients come back on a 2nd, 3rd and even 4th tour sometimes! Nearly half of every tour is usually alumni! That speaks for itself.
 

How many students are allowed on a tour?

We only allow 15-18 investors on each tour. Period. It's a small and intimate learning experience with one on one mentor access to Charrissa, which is what makes it so valuable.

What's the schedule look like for the weekend?

The schedule is like this: On Friday we do an introductory session to talk about what's going to happen over the weekend and then go through your handbooks. We have dinner and then meet the power team in person and enjoy a networking session. Saturday and Sunday there are classroom session/number crunching and offer writing sessions in the morning and evening of both days and then we are on a bus all day on Saturday and Sunday. Sunday evening is when the official offer writing session takes place as well as the strategy sessions!
 

What's the difference between the coaching program and going on the tour and will they give me the same results?

The difference between the tour and the coaching is that the tour is an 8 week program that is done over the phone and web. Each and every week, we so through a different part of the process and cover it in depth. During the 8 weeks, we cover the entire 10 steps, hiring a virtual assistant, buying and holding, wholesaling and lease options. The trainings are webinar style where you watch Charrissa's screen while you listen and interact by asking questions.
 

The tour is a live, hands on event where Charrissa takes a small groups of investors to a select city and introduces you to here power team and then you go on a bus for two full days looking at properties that have been preselected.  Charrissa does the financial analysis, you tour each property and learn why it would be a good, great or bad investment and every single investor gets one on one access to Charrissa in addition to access to her personal power team in that given city. Charrissa and her team have already done all of the research and the due diligence for you and you simply make offers at the end of the tour. However, there is a huge emphasis placed on the education. Charrissa wants to make sure that you are learning the "process" and the "system" so that when you leave that given city, you can DUPLICATE what she has taught you while you were there. You will also have the opportunity to network with other investors from all over the country who have attended the tour as well.
 

Does everyone by property on the tour?

Everyone has the opportunity to buy property while they are there and this is the reason to go on the tour. If you are not planning to buy property at the time, the tour may not be the best thing for you, and you many want to go through the coaching program instead. Charrissa makes sure everyone is pre-approved through the lenders prior to attending the tour because the people who are on the tour are doers. They are coming to a new city to not only learn, but to take action and buy property. On the buying tours you are essentially being handed a new market on a silver platter and it is the perfect opportunity to learn how to buy real estate the right way with someone holding your hand all the while!
 

Does everyone want the same property?

WE show enough properties on the tour (40-50) so that we don't have this problem. There are several great deals –not just one or two. We make sure that everyone has the opportunity to make offers on a property and that there are no issues over a certain property. On the tour, we treat the process just like it would be treated if you were at home making offers. All offers are submitted to the seller or bank regardless and the Seller makes the decision as to which offer is accepted. Charrissa, here team or REI Conferences have no say so or control over which offer the seller will accept.
 

Can I contact Charrissa after the tour if I get stuck or need help?

Yes, you are welcome to contact Charrissa via email or set up a phone appointment if your issue cannot be handled via email.   She takes pride in mentoring her students to success.
 

Why do you pick certain cities that you do to do the tours in?

Charrissa and her team only select those markets that they have already been in and it makes sense to invest in currently. Certain strategies work better in certain markets and REI Conferences pays close attention to which phase of the economic cycle and real estate cycles that we are currently in. We only go into those markets where it makes sense timing wise and where we have all of the "kinks" worked out of the chain.

Can anyone attend the Wealth Camps?

The Wealth Camp is open to investors of all different levels and attracts new and seasoned investors alike. No walk-in registrations accepted at the door. You MUST be pre-registered in order to attend.

Can I bring someone to the Wealth Camp with me?

As an REI Wealth Camp participant you are eligible to bring one additional guest with you free of charge. That person may be a spouse, parent, business partner or child over the age of 14.

Do you offer coordination of room sharing between other attendees?

No we do not.

How long do I have to take advantage of the FREE admissions after purchasing the Building Wealth System?
You have 12 months from the date of the Building Wealth System purchase to attend any one of our wealth camps for FREE.
I am a Building Wealth Systems Owner, how do I register for the event?

I have called the hotel and been told that the rooms are full…what do I do?

As stated above, rooms are LIMITED so you must register as soon as possible to get the hotel information to reserve your room accommodations.

In the event the hotel where the wealth camp is being held has no rooms available, you may contact one of the other local hotels in the area. Let us know if you need a list by sending an email to: info@reiconferences.com with “Hotel List” and the event name in the subject line.

Is there a reduced rate for hotel accommodations should I attend the boot camp?

Yes! REI Conferences has negotiated a special group rate of $89-$119 per night at the hotels where the events are held (hotel information is supplied upon registration). Rooms are LIMITED and you should reserve your seat for the wealth camp and your room accommodations as soon as you decide to attend.

What is the Schedule for the Wealth Camps?

The wealth camps will be held on Friday & Saturdays on the scheduled dates. Registration/Check-In for each wealth camp will begin at approximately 8:30am on the scheduled Friday. The event will generally end at approximately 6pm EST on Saturday. An agenda with speaker schedules and breaks will be give to you at check-in.

What should I do if I need to cancel my registration? Are their any penalties?

Call us at 1-888-250-6616 between the hours of 9am & 5pm EST, Mon. through Fri. to cancel your reservation. We request that any cancellations be made no later than 3 business days prior to the scheduled event. We understand that emergencies occur and we only request a courtesy call so that we have ample time to contact the next person on the waiting list as the wealth camps are almost always sold out.

You should have received an email directly from our fulfillment company when your course was shipped that contained the method of shipment and a tracking number, if applicable. If you did not receive this email, it's possible that the email was stopped by your spam filter.

In most cases, it takes 5-7 business days for delivery depending on your location. Some receive it sooner and there are some, especially on the West Coast, that may not receive it before 10 business days.

If you have not received an email or your package within 10 days, please email us at: info@reiconferences.com with shipment status in the subject line.

If you have purchased another speaker's product from our teleconferences

Please allow up to 10 business days for delivery. If, after 10 days, you have not received your materials, please call Customer Service at 1-888-250-6616.

My credit card was declined when I tried to make a purchase and I know my card is good. What’s wrong?

It's possible that the issuer of your card has placed a security feature on your card that prevents purchases over a certain amount. A quick call to the customer service number on the back of your card to verify that you are the one trying to make the purchase will usually correct the situation and you will be able to submit your order without further problems.

Although inconvenient, it is for your protection.

Other problems may be inaccurate information being entered on the order form.

If you are placing your order online, please double check that all information is accurate and exactly as stated on your billing statements for the card you are trying to use.

If you submit your order via fax at 1-888-327-6410 or on our 100% secure, toll free order line, please make sure that your writing is legible and that you speak slowly and clearly on the phone system. Make sure that you include all pertinent information such as card number, expiration date, etc. Make sure that when you fax or call in your order that you provide a DAYTIME telephone number and your PRIMARY email. Orders cannot be processed without this information and you cannot be reached in the event of a problem.
